Meet Paul - Founder & Lead Trainer
I’m Paul, a Navy veteran turned dog trainer based in Smithfield, VA. My passion for working with dogs started during my time as a Master at Arms; and in 2020, I took that passion full-time after graduating from AK9I, where I trained in detection dog handling and training.
Today, I focus on obedience training with a well-balanced approach centered around positive reinforcement. I use the tools that best fit each dog, and I make it a point to not only train your dog—but to equip you with the knowledge and confidence to keep the progress going.
All training happens right at my home, which means more personal attention for your dog and affordable pricing for you. My wife helps behind the scenes, but I do all the training myself to keep things consistent and focused.
